About the agency

Established in 1987, O’Rourke Insurance Agency, Inc is an independent Agency located in the center of Whitman, Massachusetts.  Originally opened and founded by Gale (O’Rourke) Varraso, now run by her son Ryan O’Rourke.  We offer the personal service that is expected from a small town business. O’Rourke Insurance has been a big part of the community in sponsoring local town sport teams and donating to many local charities.  

O’Rourke Insurance Agency, Inc. writes for many major insurance companies such as Arbella Insurance, Hanover Insurance, Hingham Insurance, Foremost Insurance, and many others.  Due to writing for many companies we can offer competitive rates and find the best company that fits our insured’s needs. 

Staff

Gale Varraso (president), has worked in the insurance industry since 1973.  Previous to opening her own agency in 1987, she worked for a long time Whitman agency.  Gale has recently become a snow bird and will be at the office during the summer months.  

Ryan O’Rourke (vice president), has “grown up” in the insurance business.  He has been with O’Rourke Insurance since 2012.  He has his insurance license and has been in a customer service based position for over 20 years. 

Belinda Crespo (Account Manager), has been in the insurance industry since 1999. She previously worked at an agency in Dorchester until 2017. Belinda is bilingual and speaks Spanish. She has been licensed since 2019.
